At up to $353 per sale, Shopify has debatably one of the highest paying affiliate programs around. "When you sign up to be a Shopify affiliate, we’ll give you a special link to Shopify that you can share through a tweet, Facebook post, on your blog, through an ad – however you choose! You’ll earn revenue for every customer who signs up for Shopify through your link." What is it? Instead of me telling you how amazing Shopify is, just check out these examples. My … [Read more...]
HeatSync – All That Data, All In One Place
HeatSync – All That Data, All In One Place If you’re anything like me, you probably take Affiliate Marketing seriously enough to use analytics tools to measure the performance of your sites. Furthermore, part of taking it seriously is being thorough. It’s not enough anymore to just check your Klout score or Alexa ranking and call it a day. Naturally, this leads to having a dozen websites you have to play around with every morning in order to get the big-picture kind of insights you need. … [Read more...]

PaperCash’s “Supercharged” EDU Affiliate Program
It's no surprise that EDU is a strong vertical in 2013, and Paper-Cash is one of the leading affiliate programs in the space. The real benefits of going to Affiliate Summit
Everyone outside of the marketing industry always asks me why I go to Affiliate Summit for EVERY single show. That's twice a year to the same show. It might seem counter-productive to go to the same show twice a year from an outside perspective, but let me tell you that's very far from the truth. I go to Affiliate Summit for mainly two things, networking and information. In reality, there's nothing else of importance. I want to network with people that I talk to online all day, people … [Read more...]
Affiliate Summit West – Day 1 & 2
Another successful Affiliate Summit and I'm here to tell you about my experiences. I got in Saturday and met up with some business partners, friends, etc. I ran into Josh, Alex and the Mob Aff guys and hung out for a bit. Saturday night was pretty laid back, I went over to a penthouse at the Palms for a small party with Mike Chiasson, Sam Rusani and some others. Sunday was the meet market. Affiliate Summit did a good job this year structuring the flow better. I still felt it was … [Read more...]
Huge business tycoons and entrepreneurs using Astrology?
Most of us know Astrology as some weird hoaxy thing that we're not sure if it's "real" or not. Something to do with planets, when we were born and star signs. I recently spent some time learning more about astrology and unearthed some shocking things. At first, honestly, I was a bit skeptical. I didn't think Astrology was even real let alone how it could possibly help me in business and marketing. Not that it's intended to really help in business and marketing but after learning more … [Read more...]
How far will affiliates go to get a conversion?
The answer is generally that they will go very far. Most affiliates are in the mindset that they will do whatever it takes to get the sale or generate that lead. In many industries thats a good thing. Maybe it's a good thing here, for the affiliate. It's certainly good for their bank account. Networks and advertisers are taking the big hit. Sure the affiliate will also be punished if the FTC comes knocking but the advertiser could end up having to pay back every dollar ever … [Read more...]
