Cool idea, I can’t seem to get anything to show up after i save the changes. I tried an LP i already had…it uses css and all that…dows it have to be straight html?
what you think the issue could be, i see the tab but its just all white. I even tried just basic html with 1 line of text. still nothing.

Hard to say without seeing it, but, are you putting the code into the FBML box AFTER you click “Edit” on the FBML menu?
Post the link or use the Contact Us and show me the page and I can look at the source and see what the problem may be.
Figured out the problem via email. Basically, we can’t use html, title, body or any other kind of tags in the FBML box or it will screw it up. All in all, we don’t really need them anyways.
Wow thats kind of lame that you have to go add someone’s application to be able to add the html box. Is that one of Facebook’s apps or someone else’s? Good tip all the same!

Hey Brian, this really blew my mind… Imagine the possibilities!
It kinda does go against the idea of not making landing pages advertised from FB look like Facebook itself – Its that ‘implicit endorsement’ they’re trying to avoid. In this case it *IS* Facebook. I had seen a video on customizing a Facebook fan page, but nothing like having an opt-in in there. You sort of connected the dots here in my mind – WOW!
I’ve already put the FBML into a page and I’m already messing with it (I’ve got basic HTML in there! Woot!). Its going to be rainy tomorrow here, so I’m going to try creating a new page and driving traffic to it… From inside AND outside FB and see what happens.
I wonder how long before I get banned for messing with this.
Per two sources, the Golden Rule of “Facebooking” is to create an Opt-In page that is FUN. Where can one go to study some samples of Fun Opt-In pages? Shall one load the Opt-In pages with widgets… videos… etc.? Where shall I go in order to see the cutting-edge of Opt-In Fun?

Just went through all the steps to create a really awesome FB landing page (per instructions in video).
Tried to buy FB ads to drive traffic to the url for the landing page, and keep getting “you don’t have sufficient permission to do that” msg, with no further explanation.
Any idea what’s going wrong?
