I’ve recently been working on a new blog design for Daily Conversions and I got to thinking…
I knew it was long overdue for a completely new design. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go with the standard affiliate marketing blog look that all the mega bloggers have or if I wanted to try something completely new and fresh.
Then, I thought for another 2 seconds and said DUH. Of course I want to go against the grain.
So, my new blog design will be out within the next few days. Hopefully by this weekend. I’m working with a great designer friend of mine who is THE man when it comes to trends and not making things look like everyone elses.
Then it got me thinking of what else I’m doing that is the same as everyone else (and not even realizing it.)
Why do people like to do what everyone else is doing? Copy landing pages etc., that for all we know are not converting?
Why do people assume that just because something is out there in abundance (or famous) that it is actually the most effective way about doing something?
1 – laziness
2 – fear of the unknown
3 – laziness
Do you mean listening to ICP wasn’t because they were a good rap band that dresses like clowns?
It takes a great deal of time and effort to do something different.
