Digging Up Proven Ad Headlines

Here’s a little video I did that shows how to utilize Digg to literally “Digg” up ad headlines, that have been proven to work.

It’s a very simple yet very powerful part of marketing. You can make up all the stuff in the world with hit or miss success. However, if you jump on a site like Digg, everything is laid out for you as far as what has been PROVEN to get clicks and go viral.

Notice how I used the homeless man example a few days ago when there was just a big debate on Primetime TV about helping vs not helping homeless men/women. That was no coincidence and I heard about that through Digg.

Actually, it’s funny on that one because there is an entire crew of people over on a forum debating the post and many of them are using the same arguments as the Primetime TV show used against not helping the homeless. I personally help the homeless, however, on a case by case basis depending what I think they are going to do with the money.

Either way, buzz topics are really easy to find on Digg and that will allow you to either write blog posts using similar subjects, ad headlines/body texts, email headlines and more. Further, based on the number of people that have Dugg something, you are almost sure to have a winner just based on the number of Diggs.

  1. Great idea Brian. Most successful Digg articles are viral in some way, and there’s no doubt that’s a solid traffic generation model (viral).
