You seem to have a really interesting background. Tell us a bit about yourself and your background. Specifically, has anything in your past prepared you for your current businesses?

- Firstly of all I’d like to thank you for shining light where it belongs. My name is Yousif Yalda and I’m the Man, The Legend, The True Hustler. I’m the respectful owner of Profit Kings Media. I’ve been dabbling in affiliate marketing for over three years (at the time of this writing) and I continue making it happen for all the love we get from the affiliate community out there. Thick skin and patience is what I’ve learned from all of my time spent in this industry.

It appears you have followed a “road less traveled”. Tell us how you got started in the industries that you’re in and why you choose this path.

After coaching several close friends and family, I quickly noticed my strength was in networking. The skinny margins that came from sending affiliates to other networks became less valuable to me. I dreamt of starting a network to organize all of my support, make more money with all of my peers, and build over the weaknesses other affiliate networks had. Profit Kings Media was started by affiliates for affiliates.

If you had a gun to your head and someone was asking you “what’s your secret?” and wouldn’t let you go until they believed you were being honest. What would you say?

The reason behind my success and Profit Kings Media shows in our work ethic. I believe in working longer, smarter, and harder to sustain immense wealth. You have to focus and execute. For affiliates out there just getting started in game, stop reading the forums and pull out your credit card. Start buying traffic, lose money, and then profit through those mistakes.

Have you learned any lessons the hard way, professionally? If so, what are they and what can others learn from those lessons that you’ve been through?

Keeping your cool in all situations can be difficult and I’ve lost my temper online more times than I can count (mostly due to rumors), but reputation is everything in this business. Approach accordingly and don’t burn relationships. If you’re a network, advertiser, or affiliate – always remember to make sensible decisions.

If you had to pick 1 or 2 things that you are most proud of in your business career, what would they be?

We are a 100% debt-free company – most networks cannot admit to this because they are buried in loans from VCs or banks, some examples are Copeac, Azoogle, CX Digital, Neverblue, and various others. The standalone fact is that we have offered weekly payments since 2009 and will never downgrade our payment policy. I have always pledged to pay this quickly to help affiliate cash flow and will remain this way to keep our good faith.

A very wise man once said “I don’t believe in trying to do things, I believe in doing them.” Do you think that quote holds any truth? What’s one of your favorite business or motivational quotes?
