I meet with companies all the time that are doing pretty well selling their products, but they aren’t doing nearly as well as having an army of 100, 1000, or more marketers could.
Sometimes a skilled in house media buying team can be better for certain products, especially if its an industry with regulations, FTC concerns, etc that you don’t want to open up to affiliates. However, other times when you’re selling multiple products, not a ton of legal concern, and there are a ton of moving pieces affiliate marketing can be the answer.
I met with a company just last week that just wanted some advice. They were struggling with getting sales, had a low risk product that wasn’t going to bring up any major legal concern… but the problem was that they just couldn’t get sales in the door by themselves. They weren’t willing to really put in the effort it sometimes takes.
I hooked them up with an affiliate network and gave them some suggestions on their landing pages, and just today I got word that they made their first 50 sales through affiliate marketing. It was really cool to hear that and see that they took my advice and ran with it.

Congrats Brian: Most companies wouldn’t have a clue what to do. So nice to see you role out the red carpet to show affiliates what they need on a solid lander to start the affiliate sales engine machine
